who are we?
Hello, I’m Rylan Polkinghorn, the founder of Got Yard. I started this company in high school at 18 years old, mowing lawns and doing jobs for my mom’s friends and acquaintances. Now, we specialize in landscape design and installation, including paver patios, concrete work, and extensive landscape installations like water features, ponds and more. We even do some commercial projects like pressure washing at Chipotle, at gas stations and landscaping as well at commercial businesses. Our passion lies in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for busy professionals.
Got Yard is built on a foundation of hard work and dedication. Since our humble beginnings in 2021, we have been fortunate to the community to work with 1,500+ clients (a lot returning) grow a crew and and have been able to do neat things like walkways, fire pits, cleaning out blackberries, fill up driveways with gravel, building out concrete retaining walls and more.
Some of my favorite projects so far have been a concrete project for a hotel in Everett, and another was for a fountain job in Everett, and a really neat one was a salmon restoration project where I planted plants to help salmon thrive.
